
I remembered once Nick, Su and I were out for supper and we asked each other, what is one thing we were appreciate and never regret.
Nick said keeping in touch with his friends from secondary school till now.
Su said her family.
For me, it was the decision to enter Shatec that became the best decision made and made friends that were keepers. :)
So, I finally graduated from Shatec after 3 years! It seemed long but really when I looked back, I realized it don't seem that long after all.
It was held in Shangri-La ballroom and it is one of those simple graduation ceremony lah. So simple till our certificate was also very erm, -___- disappointing.
Before the official cermony begun, we catched up with each other and took plenty of photos!




So after quite a while, the official cermony starts with the usual speeches and such.


Then class by class lined up and walked up to collect the certificate. It is just a dummy cetificate of which after the whole ceremony ends, we were to go to the tables located at the sides of the hall to pick up our official disappointing certificate. -_____-
While we were queuing up, we had Mr Darrell Chia to take photos for us!





I have graduated!

To be honest, I don't know who's the man whom is awarding us the dummy certificate. Some hotelier I supposed.
And ladies and gentleman, yours truly is awarded the silver award for SHA excellence!

For each course, there is gold / silver / bronze award awarding to students whom have performed well in studies. There is cash reward and also, something to add to your achievement lah.
To be honest, I wanted the gold award but it was awarded to Feny.
I think the main reason is that I got 2 Cs and that she has only 1 C! Heh heh.
In every way, I thought I could stand a good chance for achieving the gold award. I did well in school, teachers formed positive opinon, likewise during my attachment days I did relatively well enough for trainers to tell me that both Benny and I were complimented.
But wells, I am humbled and learnt not to be too overly hopeful nor confident for life is just as such, unpredictable there's always for some strange reason, you don't get what you want.
For record purpose, gold is award to Feny, silver to yours truly and bronze to Benny.
In every way, I believed we each deserve it.
The lady who called me on the phone to inform me told me that this time round, they had a hard time choosing whom should be give these 3 pretigious award (heehee). It was tough as many of us in the class did exceptionally well and alot of us had performed well enough to warrant the awards.
BUT WELL THE BEST OF THE BEST HAD EMERGED!!!
Haha sorry couldn't resist that liner!
I was not surprised really. On average, at least half the class obtained above 3.2 GPA which comparing to other intakes, it was a job well done.

Finally, after the whole everybody going up stage to take the dummmy certificate, the emcees invited the Guest of Honour for the reception while the rest of us picked up our certificate.

So after collecting the certificates, we went out to the reception hall and ate and take more pictures!

Catch up with a couple of my trainers and other fellow Shatec mates.
It was lovely seeing everyone once again; my trainers and my classmates.
All of us have grown and moved on.
All good things must come to an end.
I thank you for being part of my Shatec journey, be part of my precious fondness memory and please ah, keep in touch ok!
I am counting on you guys to attend MY WEDDING HAHAHA and also everyone else wedding!
Like Farah's garden wedding and Sher's Malaysia wedding!
